What is going on? Why is this happening? How does it happen? Reasons, yeah, no answers. Is this freedom? Not to me. Is this a new psychosis?

Mass murder, a new reality, a social experiment, a new low for our society! All these shootings are being directed at our children in one way or another. Who ever thought this would happen? Many questions, but no answers.

Have we been too lenient with our kids or has technology taken over parenthood? It seems the younger age does not know right from wrong anymore. Seems that morals and ethics are not taught anymore, not in school, not in church, and not in the family. The people that have morals and have learned morals of good conduct are now grandma and grandpa, but no one listens to them much anymore.

I am writing this because of the shooting in Jacksonville at an innocuous gaming convention. Good grief! Was the shooter jealous of the top two guys and couldn’t get any better than them? Is that the reason? I bet it was and they say in the news that they “just don’t know the reason.” I can see what the reason is, any parent can, because I know about it.

I have two young men that grew up with gaming and have been interested in going to one of these conventions for the “fun” of it. And that is what it is “fun.” Girls and guys getting together for competitive gaming.
