Resistance and anxiety

Resistance and anxiety lay on the corner of every author’s table. Fear of failure and of judgment. Fear of being an individual. The reason is crucial to write the work. If writing is the process, then releasing the words to the world is the last step.

Without it you can never gain from response; be it good, bad, or indifferent. Business is something that takes knowledge too. Writers block is another general emotion touted in document circles. Here is the feeling about this; it doesn’t survive. This is another excuse to not do the work.

Divine Inspiration

If you look for divine inspiration every day you’ll never get anything published. With the solid tradition made of sitting down to make each morning count and get rid of that blank page, it turns into a non-issue. The list again is to simply keep sitting down to the work. Keep in mind that the world is full of things to write about.

Resistance is experienced as fear; the degree of fear equates to the strength of resistance. The more fear we feel about a specific enterprise, the more certain we can be that that enterprise is important to us and to the growth of our soul. That’s why we feel so much resistance. If it meant nothing to us, there would be no resistance.

EMPLOYEES — EMPLOYERS

Employees resist change because of fear of losing jobs, fear of added tasks and responsibilities, and fear of adapting to the new order. It has been noted that employee resistance is “energy waiting to be released.”

It is not something to be circumvented but, rather, something to be harnessed for greater results. Firms must strike a delicate balance between having employees feel the need to change and having them want to. This is why the resistance to change is so important.

The most important factor for which people resist change is fear. When they don’t know about changes; that’s when they start to fear. For example, if the labor company announced changes that now they will make more use of computers to improve their techniques it certainly creates fear on present employees who don’t know how to use a computer, and they start to resist about the changes.
