Words We Have Heard From TV Shows and Movies

But never really knew the meaning of.

Ungawa, Bwana! Those words came from my childhood watching old Tarzan movies, which means “Listen to me Father or Boss” in Swahili. That seems to be a phrase heard in all Tarzan movies mostly when a native would talk to Tarzan or a white hunter. I didn’t say the movie was appropriate.
